We explored the cultural influences and musical roots behind each party theme to better understand the audience and energy of the events. By attending the parties ourselves, we studied crowd dynamics, lighting conditions, and key visual moments that define each experience. This research guided our filming approach and creative direction.
Our visual style focuses on rhythm, movement, and bold lighting. Fast-paced cuts, handheld camera motion, and rich color grading give each video a signature feel. Typography and on-screen graphics were kept minimal to let the vibe and crowd energy speak for themselves. Each aftermovie reflects the soul of the night it captures.
The project evolved across multiple cities—Zurich, Basel, St. Gallen, Biel/Bienne, and Baden—requiring us to adapt to various venues and atmospheres. We developed a flexible yet consistent production workflow, ensuring fast turnarounds and cohesive branding across all videos. This long-term collaboration continues to grow, fueled by a shared vision of creativity and cultural celebration.
The concept behind this collaboration was to develop a visual identity that reflects the unique atmosphere of Maintime’s afterparties. Each event—be it Afrique, Noite Brasileira, TiempoLatino, or Flow RD—carries a distinct musical and cultural essence, which we aimed to highlight through vibrant, cinematic storytelling.
